She sleeps in a tent and can even garden, fish and keep bees!)Īaaand, I even downloaded the Darkest Forge mod, which now I'll never have a chance to use again. (Then again, I already have kind of a habit of putting Don't Starve characters in other things, such as Sim-Willow's "Wilderness Lot" in Sims 3. I DEFINITELY had an Arbalest named Winona, though. Generally I go with (a) what the character looks like or (b) a combination of sounds that seems nice at the moment, when naming them. XD And that's not the only reference, but I can't remember the others now. I hope it will help my fellow skin modders to do content without fearing conflict with other mods and thus help community by avoiding users to have to manually find a new letter.Says so right on the intro page, before even the title! One of the first things I noticed, in fact, since I didn't get into Darkest Dungeon until AFTER I'd already been playing Don't Starve. If you need a mod using it To see it in game, try my collection :

You can also use the same letter for all your skin if you want. Finally, i'd recommand that you use the same letter for all you skin variant of a same skin so your similar skins wont be lost inbetween some other in the case someone else used your first letter. Also i would not use _A to _D for a new skin with this, as it Will be betweens vanilla skins, unless it's your intention.I'd recommand at last 4 letters and 1 number if you publish skins with this to avoid the chances 2 modders use 1abomination_B which would be quite infortunate. And that they will appear in alphabetical order. these wont conflict with " antiquarian_J " or abomination_A or _B.With some test from various members of the community, it seems the game can handle without flinching 260+ skin on the same character. Skin name conflict is gone, resulting in an infinity of naming possibility for us ! simply add letters BEFORE the folder name like this :Īnd. We tried to change the letters of skins folder, like antiquarian_A to antiquarian_Zīut if two modders use antiquarian_J, they will conflict.īut it seems we didn't tried ( or you did but it's not known ? ) to. I'm talking here especially for skin makers or users, but We've found a way to completly avoid skin conflicts for your skins mods.

This is gonna be a straight repost of my reddit post, but spreading a bit more the word can't hurt :)
